Throughout the month of January and February Pastor Lou will be giving a series of messages about Jesus’ return and why he believes it will be soon
The focus of these end-times messages will be the same focus that Jesus gave His disciples Be READY
Jesus may come for you personally today or even within this hour
Or He may come for every Christian on the planet but as I said last week
The only thing that matters about the end-times is being ready
Being ready means:
- Accepted Jesus as your savior
- Knowing God’s Word
Having a personal relationship with Christ—praying and listening to God frequently so that you recognize His Voice
Jesus Is Coming: A Hope That Anchors the Soul
Across centuries, cultures, and generations, one message has echoed through the hearts of believers: Jesus is coming again. This promise is not rooted in fear or speculation, but in hope, restoration, and fulfillment.
When Jesus walked the earth, He spoke often of the Kingdom of God—not only as a present reality, but as a future certainty. Before His ascension, angels told the disciples, “This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven” (Acts 1:11). From that moment on, the early church lived with expectancy, courage, and purpose.
Not a Date, but a Destiny
The return of Jesus is not about predicting dates or stirring anxiety. Scripture reminds us that “no one knows the day or the hour” (Matthew 24:36). Instead, the message is clear: be ready, be faithful, and be loving.
Readiness is not about perfection—it’s about relationship. It’s about living daily with hearts aligned to God, loving others well, forgiving freely, and walking humbly. Jesus’ return is not meant to paralyze believers with fear, but to motivate us to live meaningful, obedient lives right now.
Hope in a Broken World
In a world marked by uncertainty, injustice, and suffering, the promise that Jesus is coming again brings deep comfort. It assures us that evil will not have the final word, that pain is temporary, and that God’s plan is moving toward restoration.
The Bible describes a future where “He will wipe every tear from their eyes” (Revelation 21:4). This is not escapism—it is hope that empowers us to endure, to serve, and to stand firm even when times are hard.
Living in the Light of His Return
If Jesus is coming, how should we live?
- With faith, trusting God even when we don’t understand
- With love, reflecting Christ in our words and actions
- With urgency, sharing hope with a world that desperately needs it
- With peace, knowing our future is secure in Him
The call is simple but profound: “Occupy until I come” (Luke 19:13). Be faithful where you are. Love who is in front of you. Serve God with joy today.
Come, Lord Jesus
The final prayer of the Bible says it best: “Amen. Come, Lord Jesus” (Revelation 22:20).
Until that day, we wait—not idly, not fearfully—but faithfully, anchored in hope, confident in His promises, and ready to welcome the King.
Jesus is coming. And that is good news.
